Collective Soul is an American rock band formed in Stockbridge, Georgia. The band
broke into the mainstream in 1993 with their first hit single, “Shine.”
Their self-titled second album was released the following year and went triple
platinum with a 76 week run on the Billboard 200. Hit singles from the band include
"December," "Where The River Flows," and "The World I
Know", #2 hit "Gel", and a top-ten hit "Smashing Young Man.”
Collective Soul has released eight albums and in September of 2009, Collective Soul were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame
