Born in Abilene Texas, Jamie Lynn Morgan has been an avid music lover all of her life. Her primary vocal influences include Karen Carpenter, Linda Rondstadt, Patsy Cline and Bonnie Raitt. Jamie is privileged to have studied under the late, legendary voice coach, Judy Davis, who was known as the "vocal coach to the stars" - having trained such notables as Barbara Streisand, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Steve Perry and Eddie Money. Jamie is currently a resident recording artist at Spirit Wind Recording Studios located in Hayward, California. She has studied commercial acting in San Francisco and Los Angeles, holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from U.C. Berkley and is currently SAG eligible. Jamie is the lead singer of The Hired Gunz, a new country rock band based in the San Francisco Bay area. She is also a featured vocalist in the musical ensembles Almost Jazz and the Steve Nakano Quintet, and performs on occasion with the Cruise Tones and Alfie Dreifuss' MVP Band.
